The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre was substantially upgraded to become the host venue for the swimming and diving competitions during the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The upgrade included a new 10-lane 50 metre competition pool, new learn-to-swim pool, elevated spectator concourse, change rooms, gym and amenties, community meeting room and event facilities and the refurbishment of the existing 8-lane 50 metre pool and dive pool.
General Air was excited to be involved in this redevelopment, the first Commonwealth Games legacy infrastructure project to get underway and completed on time and on budget.
